Burberry Light Glow Blush

Hi! So I wanted to take the time to write a little review on the Burberry Light Glow Blush (Tangerine No. 06). People with sensitive skin beware. Keep reading to find out why I can’t use this blush although I SO wish I could!!

The blush is packaged so beautifully in a compact complete with a applicator brush and mirror case. The compact features Burberry’s iconic plaid etching.

Description for the blush found on Burberry’s site reads:

Enhance cheeks and instantly boost complexions with this lightweight powder blush for a subtle healthy radiance. The fine powder is ultra-blendable and buildable for effortless, mistake-proof application.

The shade tangerine is a peachy-nude that would look elegant on anyone. It gives such a natural glow exactly as the description reads on the Burberry website. It’s so beautiful on the skin and is a great blush for a “no make-up” look. It goes on light but is certainly buildable depending on the look you are trying to achieve.

All of Burberry’s products are lightly scented. I love this about Burberry’s products because they always look so chic and the fact that they smell great too just gives it a feminine touch. Although I personally love the fact that Burberry fragrances it’s products my skin does NOT feel the same. This blush caused my skin to break out (mildly) so I am not able to use it. 😦 I wish so badly that this was not the case because I really do love it so much. If you don’t have sensitive skin I really think that you’d be fine with this product because I’ve talked with several people who have used this blush before and haven’t had an issue. Overall I would definitely recommend this blush. I would just advise people with sensitive skin to be careful because scented products often times irritate the skin.

That being said – I’m on the market for a new blush. Does anyone have any suggestions? If you have any suggestions please leave them in a comment below!
