I am so excited to talk about one of my all time FAVORITE products – Dr. Brandt’s Pores No More Pore Refiner Primer.
I discovered this GEM two or three years ago. Before I started using this product, I truthfully didn’t think primers were at all beneficial. That being said, I had that view towards primers and I had never even used one before. Who was I to make a judgement like that?!
“This multi-purpose primer goes to work as a velvety base to help blur the look of imperfections and pores, enhancing the appearance of bare skin, as well as prepping it for long-lasting foundation and makeup, in just one step.”
This primer is truly incredible. I have raved about it to anyone that will listen. It doesn’t just keep my makeup on all day.. it makes my makeup appear untouched and gives a flawless canvas for you to apply makeup on. It’s like magic!
It makes the pores on my nose appear significantly smaller. I use it after applying my moisturizer and immediately see results. I’ve also noticed that whenever I use this primer, people tend to compliment my makeup in the evening! This is crazy to me because I usually put makeup on around 8:00am. People will comment on my makeup in the evenings around 8:00-9:00pm. How crazy is that? No retouches either!!
What I like about this product
- Long lasting
- Lightweight
- Mattifying
- Minimizes pores
- Easy application (one pump – keep reading to find out what I mean by this)
What I don’t like
- Price. I must admit, this product is a little pricey ($45.00). However, it really works wonders. In my opinion, it’s worth every penny.
- Something I wanted to point out is that about a year ago, I would use this product every day. In result, I felt as though my skin got used to the product. I noticed my skin didn’t appear as matte throughout the day. That being said, I don’t use it everyday anymore and I feel that it’s working effectively again. Woohoo!
So this is what I meant by one pump being one of the things I like. In the photo above, you’ll find how much product comes out with one pump. This is enough for my entire face. I like this because it makes it easy for me to not use too much/too little – it’s just right.
Have you tried this primer before? Have any recommendations for a primer you think I’d like? Leave a comment below!
This primer sounds really good! I’ve got oily skin too so a good primer is important to me!

This sounds like a great primer! I have oily areas on my face and this looks like it definitely would help with that as well as blurring out pores and imperfections. (:

I definitely think it would help with keeping your oily areas matte. It’s such a great primer and really does make a difference with the visibility of pores 🙂
