I’m constantly on the hunt for full coverage under eye concealers that work for me. I’ve been using Maracuja Creaseless Concealer by Tarte for about 2 years now. I love it so much BUT lately it’s been giving me a really bad reaction under my right eye. I spoke with a dermatologist and long story short – found out I’m having an allergic reaction to something in the Maracuja Creaseless Concealer. I’m so heartbroken about it because that concealer really worked wonders for me.
Anyways, I went to Sephora with the intention to pick up Radiant Creamy Concealer by Nars but got persuaded into trying this out instead.
“Cover dark circles in one step – this concentrated, highly pigmented concealer visibly brightens stubborn under eye darkness and softens hollows and tired lines in an instant (no sleep required). With 12-hour wear.”
Brand: Bobbi Brown
The negative: I wish the applicator was a little different. It’s a doe foot applicator but I wish it was a little larger. I have to dip the wand back in the tube 3-4 times when applying under one eye. Then again, most people don’t have as bad under eye circles as me so maybe I’m being a little picky.
In my opinion, $30.00 is a littttttle pricy for the amount of product you’re getting. I’m also used to Maracuja which is like $25.00 for a tube that lasts FOREVER! That being said, I don’t know how long this will last so I will definitely keep you updated.
The positive: It really does conceal my under eye circles. I love that it doesn’t feel drying, it’s super lightweight. Sometimes, I don’t use a setting powder with this and it looks perfectly fine. With Maracuja, I couldn’t leave the house without setting it (I prefer a matte finish under my eyes). With the Instant Full Cover Concealer, you’re definitely better off setting it with powder. However, it doesn’t look too shiny without.
Will I buy this product again? It depends. I like the concealer, it’s hydrating and gives great coverage. The price is a little high but we’ll see how long this tube lasts. If I can’t find any other concealers that have similar properties to Maracuja then yes, I will most definitely repurchase this product. However, if I do end up finding a better alternative I’ll probably purchase that instead.
Have you tried this concealer? Do you have any full coverage concealer suggestions?
