Empties: Living Proof Edition

Hi everyone! Today I’m going to talk about a few Living Proof products I’ve been using from their No Frizz line. Before I begin, I figured I’d give you a little background on my hair type.

  • fine hair
  • between thick and thin
  • pretty relaxed, some waves
  • extreme frizz and puffiness if left untreated

Living Proof No Frizz Shampoo $26 & Conditioner $26

I was super excited to try this because it was the first higher end shampoo and conditioner I tried. Because I experienced such success with another Living Proof product (keep reading to find out which), I imagined incorporating the shampoo and conditioner into my hair care routine would make my hair utter perfection. Unfortunately, that was not the case. To be honest, I did not see any change in the way my hair air-dried or blow dried while using this shampoo and conditioner. I was very disappointed in the end result. It’s not that my hair was awful, but I didn’t feel like I saw any difference really. If I’m being totally honest, I’ve seen better results from using Aussie’s 3 Minute Miracle Smooth and that only costs $2.97.

Living Proof No Frizz Weightless Spray $38

My hair tends to get oily/greasy somewhat easily. If I shower in the morning, I find that my hair begins to get oily by the end of the day. For this reason, I was super excited to find that there was a weightless spray in this line. After using this for a couple of months, I noticed that it did work pretty well if you generously apply the product throughout your hair before blow drying. A few sprays will not get the job done. That being said, when the product is applied generously, it works great and is a great option for anyone with fine hair worried about greasiness.

No Frizz

Living Proof No Frizz Nourishing Styling Cream $38

I want to clarify – the reason my bottle is Styling Treatment not Nourishing Styling Cream like the website calls it, is because I picked this up a while ago and must’ve been before Living Proof changed the name? Still the same product.

If there’s one product out of this entire line that I can recommend to you, it’s this one right here. This cream changed everything! It gives me a Keratin treatment effect. A little goes a long way which is super nice because it is a little pricy, especially if you are using this every day. I have fine hair and am usually worried about my hair looking oily but that doesn’t happen with this product! Out of all the Living Proof No Frizz products I tried, this will hands down be a product that I will repurchase.

Have you tried any of Living Proof’s products? What did you think?
