Colourpop Brow Boss Gel

It’s no joke that eyebrows can make or break a look. They are the frame of the face which is why I take pride in keeping my brows nice and groomed daily. More often than not, I don’t have the time to fill in my brows so I’ll use a clear gel to ensure they are tamed throughout the day and to reshape.

Product Information

Brand: Colourpop
Price: $6.00
Shade: Clear

I really wanted to love this brow gel but I honestly couldn’t. The applicator is a very mini spooly and it’s a little too small for me personally. I have naturally thick brows so this applicator wasn’t exactly practical for me. I also didn’t love the formula. It felt sticky and chunky to me and goes on white which is something I was not expecting. It reminded me of like Elmer’s glue. Bottom line is that I will not be repurchasing this product.

However, just because this brow gel didn’t work for me doesn’t mean it won’t work for you. It has great reviews on the Colourpop website for the most part which means people really are loving it. If you are someone with finer/thinner brows, this may be your go to brow gel! It’s super affordable and the packaging is really cute. If you wait a little bit, the white eventually turns to clear.

Great Lash

Normally, I use Maybelline’s Great Lash® Clear Mascara for my brows. I love this product a lot – it’s affordable and gets the job done. It isn’t sticky or chunky and the spooly is the perfect size for me. The only downside is that it takes a little bit to dry so my brows look wet until the gel dries down. Besides that, I have no complaints.
